Product Details

The molecular formula of sulfamic acid is NH 2 SO 3 H. The commercially available product is a white powder. At room temperature, as long as it is kept dry and does not come into contact with water, solid sulfamic acid is non-hygroscopic and relatively stable. The aqueous solution of sulfamic acid has the same strong acidity as hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid, so it is also known as solid sulfuric acid. It is non-volatile, odorless, and has very low toxicity to humans. Dust or solution is irritating to eyes and skin and can cause burns. Permissible concentration 10mg/m 3 . If the eyes are irritated, they should be rinsed with water, and severe cases should be treated by a doctor. If skin contact occurs, rinse with water and then thoroughly wash with soap. If ingested, rinse mouth immediately and seek medical attention immediately. Packaged in wooden boxes with polyethylene plastic bag lining, net weight 25kg per box. Store in a cool, ventilated, and dry place. The packaging should be sealed and protected from moisture. Protect from rain and sun exposure during transportation. When handling spilled materials, wear a respirator and gloves, sweep up with sand or rinse with water. In case of fire, water, sand, and fire extinguishers can be used to extinguish the fire.

Uses of Sulfamic Acid
Acidic cleaning agent Metal cleaning agent, descaling agent, cleaning disinfectant, oil well cleaning
Sulfonating agent Synthesis of sweeteners, synthesis of surfactants
Catalyst Sulfamic acid has good catalytic activity, low corrosiveness, and few side reactions. It can be used to replace concentrated sulfuric acid in esterification reactions and is a new type of environmentally friendly catalyst.
Flame retardant Sulfamic acid salts decompose when heated to produce a large amount of incombustible nitrogen and ammonia, which has a flame-retardant and fire-extinguishing effect. It can be used as a flame retardant for paper, fibers, and wood.
Denitrifying agent Sulfamic acid can be used in the manufacture of dyes, pigments, azotization, and dyeing processes to remove nitrites. It removes nitrites from tobacco and boiler wastewater to reduce water consumption and the emission of carcinogens.
Chlorine bleach stabilizer Adding sulfamic acid to sodium hypochlorite bleach produces a more stable   N-chlorosulfamate, which helps reduce the degradation of fiber molecules, improve the whiteness and mechanical strength of textiles and paper, improve bleaching quality, shorten bleaching time, save energy, and reduce environmental pollution.
Softener Sulfamic acid diisopropanolamine has the effect of softening paper and textiles. Compared with other softeners, it has durability and low-temperature resistance.
Electrochemical field The nickel, cobalt, and chromium salts of sulfamic acid react with low-carbon fatty aldehydes to form stable compounds that are advanced electroplating materials.
Chemical analysis field Acid standard reagent, standard for determining nitrogen and sulfur, complexing masking agent, used as an adsorbent in the determination of gaseous amines, used to eliminate the interference of nitrogen oxides in the determination of cyanide in wastewater, and used as a nitrite remover in the determination of the content of p-aminobenzenesulfonamide.
Herbicide Ammonium sulfamate has strong phytotoxicity and can be used as a forest herbicide.
Resin crosslinking promoter Adding 0.1~0.2% ammonium sulfamate to thermoplastic resin molding powder can improve the anti-aging performance and shorten the molding time.
Asphalt emulsifier Emulsified asphalt containing sulfamic acid has the characteristics of easy construction and strong adhesion to aggregates in highway construction.
Cement additive Prevent cement from freezing and make it harden quickly; or used to control cement setting time and improve strength.
Other Ferrous sulfamate can be used in nuclear fuel processing, calcium salt is used to treat wheat rust; potassium salt is an insecticide; sodium salt is a fungicide. Sulfamic acid can also be used as a sulfur trioxide stabilizer and a silver salt stabilizer in color photographs.
